Throughout the year of planning this wedding, no one could have imagined all of the things that would have transpired. The week leading up to Paige & Kalebs day, the forecast said rain, and a lot of it. THE DAY OF THE WEDDING, wE MOVED THE ENTIRE SCHEDULE UP FOUR HOURS TO GET AS MANY PHOTOS OUTSIDE AS WE COULD BEFORE THE RAIN HIT, WHICH AS YOU WILL SEE WAS A MAJOR SUCCESS, AND SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IMAGES I HAVE HAD THE HONOR OF TAKING. THINGS WERE LOOKING PROMISING FOR A RAIN FREE CEREMONY, AND THEN BAM. TEN MINUTES BEFORE IT WAS TIME FOR BEAUTIFUL PAIGE TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE IT STARTED TO RAIN. AND I DON’T MEAN A LIGHT SHOWER. LIKE A TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR. But guys, this bride. She is a champ. While everyone else was moving the crowd indoors, her dad spoke up and said “my baby girl wanted an outdoor wedding and that is what she is going to get” I mean, talk about a hero for a dad.
Umbrellas were passed out and everyone made thier way down the hill to the ceremony spot. And with a white umbrella and tear filled eyes, Paige made her way with her dad down the hill and married the love of her life. In the rain, dress was wet, hair was wet, umbrellas everywhere, but it was perfect. Followed by the most epic tent reception, and dance party you’ve ever seen, it was perfect. through all of the chaos, Schedule changing, wet clothes, and tears, this was absolutely a day no one will ever forget.
